One of the most significant realizations brought about by the process of Spiritual
Conversations and Introduction to Communal Apostolic Discernment (SICAD) 2023 has given us is the realization that our mission as a Jesuit school has long been set for us.

With the start of the new school year lurking just around the corner, the Grade School (GS) Department of Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) aimed to enrich more of its academic and non-academic offerings by orchestrating a research conference last July 21, 2023 at the GS Audio-Visual Room.

In the recently concluded 25th World Scout Jamboree held in SaeManGeum, Jeollabuk-do, Republic of Korea, last August 1-12, 2023, six Blue Eagle Scouts, Therese Erlyn Napuli, Arthur Inigo Crisologo Santos, Mikaela Baquiano, Andrea Gail Marave, and Priscilla Viveca Leonides Santos, represented Sacred Heart School Ateneo de Cebu with the other 27 scouts of the Visayas delegation from Bacolod, Aklan, Iloilo, and Dumaguete, representing the Philippine Contingent.

Knot’s insight couldn’t agree more with the goals of the Grade School Department’s AfterSchool Music Program (A.S.M.P.). The program aims to hone the musical giftedness of Grades 3-6 Ateneo hearters through specialized tracks in learning piano, and violin.

What starts with “C” that ends with a “B” and adds more fun and learning to the grade school’s academic programs? It’s the CLUB! More completely known as the Curriculum Enrichment Program (CEP) – Club, it supports the curricular programs to further ensure that Ateneo hearters get to truly soar higher as Magis Eagles.

On June 2, 2023, the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU) granted the Grade School Department Level 3 re-accreditation for another five years, valid until May 2028.
