Thank you for choosing Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu for your child. We are pleased to inform you that the admission for SY 2023 – 2024 is now open. 

Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu has been educating students for more than 60 years. Our school offers Catholic Jesuit education for students from Nursery 1 through Grade 12 and focuses on forming young men and women in Excellence, Leadership, and Service. English is the language of instruction for classes other than Filipino and Chinese.

We take pride in our senior school graduates who get accepted in top universities in the Philippines such as Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University and University of the Philippines and universities in the United States, Singapore, Australia, and other countries. Our graduates are well-prepared to pursue a variety of academic and professional fields and have a strong reputation for excellence that precedes them wherever they go.

Age Requirements and Grade Placement

Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu follows the DepEd age requirement for students entering N1 – Grade 1*.  Students applying for Nursery 1, Nursery 2 and Kinder must have turned the age listed next to the grade level for the school year to be eligible to apply. All the other students must have a corresponding Certificate of Eligibility Transfer to be eligible to apply to the next grade level.  Please refer to the table below as a guide for which grade to apply to. Please contact the admission team for further clarification.

All applicants are required to go through the admission screening process. The Admission Committee deliberates on the academic requirements presented, results of standardized entrance examination administered by the Testing Services, and when necessary, an interview with the respective principal’s office. All documents required for submission must be complete and correct; otherwise, the application will not be processed. Successful applicants are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please be guided of the following application procedure and requirements. Kindly prepare CLEAR digital copies of the requirements in advance since you will need to upload them later during the application process.

Procedure for Admissions

STEP 1

Create an account using our online admission portal: 
https://admissions.shs-adc.edu.ph/

Choose the grade level and review the requirements needed.

STEP 2

Fill up the online application form and upload the required documents. You may add additional applicants in the same account.

STEP 3

Pay the application fee of Php700 per child, online or cash onsite. A bank service web fee will be charged for online payments.

STEP 4

Admission team will review your application within 48hrs. If application received falls on a weekend, the application will be reviewed on the next working day.

STEP 5

You will be notified via email when you can book online your child’s onsite entrance exam/assessment. Testing services will contact you for further instructions.

Print your exam permit and proceed to the Testing Services on your assigned date to take the entrance exam/assessment.

STEP 6

Results will be released within 5 working days. You will be notified via email if your application has been accepted or rejected.

STEP 7

Once accepted, please proceed to pay the reservation fee of Php8,000, either online or onsite within 15 days of acceptance.

STEP 8

Official enrollment will begin on May 2, 2023. You will need to submit the required original documents to the School Registrar and pay the tuition fees at the Finance Office to be officially enrolled for SY 2023-2024.

 

Note:

  1. All applicants for senior high school will have an additional interview at the principal’s office after the entrance exam.
  2. Online payments will have a bank web service fee of Php250 per transaction.
  3. The reservation fee is non-refundable, non-transferrable but deductible from the overall tuition fee. Payments can be done online or at the cashier counter onsite.
