Overview

Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu has been educating students for more than 60 years. Our school offers Catholic Jesuit education for students from Nursery 1 through Grade 12 and focuses on forming young men and women in Excellence, Leadership, and Service. English is the language of instruction for classes other than Filipino and Chinese.

We take pride in our senior school graduates who get accepted in top universities in the Philippines such as Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University and University of the Philippines and universities in the United States, Singapore, Australia, and other countries. Age Requirements and Grade Placement

Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu follows the DepEd age requirement for students entering N1 – Grade 1*. Students applying for Nursery 1, Nursery 2 and Kinder must have turned the age listed next to the grade level for the school year to be eligible to apply. All the other students must have a corresponding Certificate of Eligibility Transfer to be eligible to apply to the next grade level. Please refer to the table below as a guide for which grade to apply to. Please contact the admission team for further clarification.

All applicants are required to go through the admission screening process. The Admission Committee deliberates on the academic requirements presented, results of standardized entrance examination administered by the Testing Services, and when necessary, an interview with the respective principal’s office. All documents required for submission must be complete and correct; otherwise, the application will not be processed. Successful applicants are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please be guided of the following application procedure and requirements. Kindly prepare CLEAR digital copies of the requirements in advance since you will need to upload them later during the application process.

ENTRANCE EXAMS SCHEDULE for S.Y. 2024 - 2025

Procedure for Admission

STEP 1

Create an account using our online admission portal:
https://admissions.shs-adc.edu.ph/

STEP 2

Choose the grade level and review the requirements needed. Please prepare scanned or digital copies of these requirements in advance since you will need to upload them later during the application process.

Kindly ensure that the copies are clear.

STEP 3

When ready, you may start the application process by filling up the online form. Upload the required documents as per the nationality of the child. You may add additional applicants in the same account.

STEP 4

Pay the application fee of PHP700 per child, online or cash onsite. For online payments, there is a bank web service fee of PHP250 per transaction. Please proceed to the cashier counter at the Finance Office for onsite payments.

STEP 5

Admission team will review your application within 48hrs. If application received falls on a weekend or holiday, then the application will be reviewed on the next working day. Please ensure to upload correct and complete documents.

STEP 6

Check your online admission portal to book your schedule for onsite entrance exam/assessment. You may contact Testing Services on testing@shs-adc.edu.ph or 09339710690 for further assistance.

STEP 7

Come to school and with your printed test permit and proceed to the Testing Services on your assigned date to take the entrance exam/assessment.

STEP 8

The results will be available within 5 working days for Nursery 1 to Grade 10 applicants. For Grade 11 applicants, it will be available in April 2024. You will be notified via email if your application has been accepted or rejected.

STEP 9

Once accepted, you may proceed to pay the reservation fee of PHP8,000 per child within 15 days of acceptance or your slot will be forfeited. The reservation fee is non-refundable, non-transferrable but deductible from the overall tuition fee. Payments can be done online or at the cashier counter onsite.

STEP 10

Official enrollment will begin on June 2024. You will need to submit the original documents to the School Registrar and pay the tuition fees at the Finance Office to be officially enrolled for SY 2024-2025.

Note:

All Grade 11 applicants will have an additional interview at the principal’s office after the entrance exam.

For Nursery 1, Nursery 2, and Kinder applicants: choosing the morning and afternoon session is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please approach our early ed coordinator, Teacher Denise to reserve your preferred schedule.
