The National Yi Lan School of Taiwan secured third place by edging out the University of the Visayas’ Baby Green Lancers 70-66.

Jelo Mar Rota of the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles has been chosen to represent the Philippines at the 13th Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Asia Camp hosted by the NBA in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Rota, a forward and center for the Magis Eagles and a native of Bantayan Island, is one of only two Filipino players selected for this esteemed camp. The other selected Filipino is Andy Gemao from Letran University Squires. They are among the top 80 high school basketball prospects from Asia and the Middle East chosen for the program. Launched in 2021 as part of FIBA’s outreach, the NBA BWB camp offers participants advanced coaching from top NBA, WNBA, and FIBA coaches.
