Learning Resource Center (LRC)

The Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu Learning Resource Center (LRC) is an integral part of the School and contributes to the realization of its objectives by providing and making available materials and services needed for the students’ formation and education.

LRC provides services mainly to SHS – AdC students, faculty, administration and the school staff.

Vision/Mission Statement

The LRC aims to promote a wholistic formation of the students as well as the faculty and the whole community through developing enthusiasm and passion for reading by providing a rich and relevant collection of reading and audio visual materials to meet the recreational, cultural, spiritual, emotional, and academic needs of the community.

Log on to our Online Databases to gain access to thousands of academic articles.

Can I print, share, email, save articles?

Yes, click on the appropriate icon and you can print, share, email and save articles.

What is Electronic Document Delivery (EDD)?

EDD is a service that provides delivery of documents for requests such as journal articles, chapters of a book and other online resources available in the Learning Resource Center’s subscribed databases. These documents will be delivered electronically by email.

Who can use Sacred Heart School- Ateneo de Cebu’s online resources?

The libraries primarily serve the school’s current faculty, students, and staff.


Student Formation


Our Student Formation Coordinators are responsible for the students’ formation, character, and well-being through its Student Activity Programs (SAP), Guidance Services, Character Prefects, and Social Involvement Activities per school department.



Mens sana in corpore sano—a healthy mind in a healthy body. Cura personalis—care for the whole person. The Atheltics Office provides various programs for aspiring student athletes as well physical education for other students.

Culture and Arts & International Programs

Learn more about the school’s Culture and Arts program as well as local and international student programs by the Culture, Arts, and International Relations Office (CAIRO).

Campus Ministry and Social Involvement

The Campus Ministry and Social Involvement Office (CMSIO) aids in the spiritual formation of the SHS–AdC community. Furthermore, the school cultivates the sense of being “persons for others” through social involvement programs by the CMSIO and the Student Formation Program.
