Celebrated on the 70th platinum jubilee of Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu, the Grade School (GS) Honors Assembly held on July 25, 2025, could not have been timed better. Organized at the Magis Eagles Arena and anchored on the school’s jubilee year theme, Ateneo Hearter @ Heart: Celebrating 70 Years of Forming Men and Women for Others, the Honors Assembly 2025 continued to pay tribute to the school’s tradition of excellence, leadership, and service.

On July 9, 2025, the Grade School Department of Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) warmly welcomed a delegation from Guosheng Elementary School in Changhua County, Taiwan, including seven Grade 6 pupils and two teachers.

The Magis Eagles Arena was awash in blue as grade schoolers arrived dressed in their finest blue Sunday attire to celebrate the Solemnity of Mother Mary’s Assumption into Heaven on August 15, 2025.

Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu Grade School participated in the month-long tribute honoring St. Ignatius of Loyola’s feast day. “Iggy Days 2025: St. Ignatius, a Pilgrim of Hope” was the heartfelt theme guiding this year’s celebration.

Back to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu Grade School community welcomed the new academic year 2025 – 2026 with an assembly at the Grade School Courtyard last July 2, 2025.

FACULTY ACHIEVEMENT. August 16, 2025 is a landmark in SHS-AdC’s history, after Mr. Rhoderick John Abellanosa, Head of the Research Office, successfully launched his book titled Education for a Faith That Does Justice: Philippine Catholic Education in an Age of Globalization.
