The Grade 3 pupils received for the first time the Body and Blood of Christ in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. This significant milestone in the Christian life of these pupils happened last November 21-22, 2024 at the Cor Jesu Oratory.

The Philippine Mental Health Association designates October as Mental Health Awareness Month. In line with this, the Grade School Guidance Services developed a Mental Health Program themed “Mindful Ateneo Hearters: Making Moments of Mindfulness.” The program’s activities were launched at the Third Grade School General Assembly on October 1, 2024.

From October 27 to November 2, 2024, students from Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu Senior High School Department participated in the 5th International College and Career Exposure (iC2E) program in Singapore. This immersive experience was designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of international education and career opportunities.

On October 5, 2024, the Virginia Chiongbian Theater at Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu came alive with the spirit of camaraderie and pride as it hosted the KAB Scout Investiture Ceremony. The event was graced by the presence of the scouts’ parents, and esteemed guests from the school and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) Cebu Council.

Last Friday, October 4, 2024, the Early Education Unit of the Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu celebrated the Feast of the Guardian Angels and its First Caregivers’ Day. This event serves as a way of showing an appreciation to all caregivers, who embody the spirit of angels through their hard work and care of the young Ateneo Hearters.

Infused with the spirit of community, the Grade School Department of Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu prioritizes the wellness of its teachers through monthly faculty wellness activities. Last August 27, 2024, the Filipino subject area sponsored the Kwek Sine Filipino film viewing in celebration of the Buwan ng Wika at the GS AVR.
