Grade School Mathematics Days 2025: “Mathematics, Arts, and Creativity in Action”
The 2025 mathematics celebration was a unique event that showcased the creative and practical side of math through the theme “Mathematics Days: Mathematics, Arts, and Creativity.” The celebration kicked off energetically on March 19 during the Grade School General Assembly, where pupils, teachers, parents, and guardians enthusiastically participated in MathSayaw Zumba—an innovative fusion of dance, rhythm, and mathematical symbols—demonstrating that math can be both fun and exciting.

GS/Ateneo Hearter Formators Embark on National Benchmarking Tour
Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) remains committed to enhancing its educational practices by ensuring that its teachers stay at the forefront of innovation, teaching tools, and skills. As part of the school’s ongoing professional development initiative, a group of dedicated Ateneo Hearter Formators from the Grade School Department recently took part in a National Benchmarking Tour.

GS/Building Stronger Connections: An Empowerment Session with Blue Plate Parent Volunteers
On a Saturday morning, March 8, 2025, the Early Education Unit of Sacred Heart School–Ateneo de Cebu invited the Blue Plate Project recipients and parent volunteers from Cubacub, Casili, and Pagsabungan Elementary Schools for a day of fun and learning. There were twenty-six children, twenty parents/guardians, and two teachers who came to join the activity.

SHS-AdC Participates in CEAP International Research Conference
Four (4) faculty researchers represented Sacred Heart School- Ateneo de Cebu in the 1st International Research Conference of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) held in Saint Louis University, Baguio City on February 17-18, 2025.

Grade School Celebrates English Days 2025
The Grade School community of Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu celebrated English Days 2025 from February 14 – 26, 2025, with the theme: “Forming Messengers of Hope: Read. Dream. Celebrate.” The goal of the English Days celebration is to equip the Ateneo Hearter lifelong learners with Ignatian eloquence by nurturing foundational literacy skills: reading, writing, speaking, viewing, and researching.
