Anchored on the school’s thrusts as a Catholic, Jesuit, Chinese-Filipino school, Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu Grade School (GS) Department has successfully launched the maiden voyage of its Ateneo Hearter Adventure (AHA) in Davao last January 23-27. As one of the grade school’s efforts to continuously enrich its academic programs through authentic learning opportunities, the AHA in Davao is a voluntary 5-day academic venture in the beautiful city of Davao.

The Blue Plate Project, an initiative by Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu, embodies our commitment to creating a brighter future for young minds. It is a school-based feeding program designed to provide free mid-day meals to preschool and grade school students in our partner schools who are classified as wasted or severely wasted.

The First Holy Communion is a sacred and momentous event in the life of a Catholic child, marking a significant step in their spiritual journey. This sacrament, also known as the Eucharist, holds profound religious and cultural importance, symbolizing the child’s initiation into the full participation of the Catholic faith.

Last November 18, 2023, SHS-AdC conducted ESC grant orientations for the Grade 7-10 beneficiaries.

On November 23,2023, an orientation was conducted with the Grade 11 beneficiaries for the Senior High School Voucher Program.

Since its establishment in 1955, Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu has strived to provide its students with quality Jesuit education. In an effort to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit among senior high school students, Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu recently collaborated with Reactor School for an intensive Entrepreneurship 1-on-1 Mentoring Program held from December 1-4, 2023. This unique initiative aimed to provide ABM and HUMSS students with hands-on experience and insights into the world of entrepreneurship, particularly in the context of smart and sustainable cities.

Alumnus Dr. Scott Davis S Lanete (HS 99) was elected chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ten Outstanding Boy Scouts of the Philippines Association (TOBSPA) for two years (2024-2026) during the general assembly held on October 27, 2023.
