In a significant acknowledgment of its contributions to education, Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) was recognized as an education partner by the Department of Education during the National Learning Camp (NLC) Appreciation Program held on July 10, 2024, at San Fernando Central School, San Fernando, Cebu. This school is one of the pilot implementors of the MATATAG curriculum.

As the Ateneo Hearter Adventure in Taiwan unfolds, 17 students and 2 (two) Teacher-chaperones from Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu are experiencing an enriching blend of cultural immersion and academic exchange, language learning, and character formation at St. Aloysius Technical School, in Xinpu Township, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. With activities gearing from May 6 to 19, 2024, the journey promises to be an unforgettable exploration of Taiwanese life and education.

Last April 27, 2024, Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu teachers shared stories of hope and resilience in Paraisong Pambata, bringing smiles to 150 kids through storytelling sessions and loot bags distributed across 3 barangays.

On April 11, 2024, the Blue Plate Project culminating activity became a vibrant celebration focused on health, nourishment and community spirit. Pupils from Cubacub, Pagsabungan and Casili Elementary Schools enjoyed the bus ride to Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu. It was a joyful conclusion to a year of service and companionship with our partner schools—Cubacub, Pagsabungan, and Casili Elementary Schools—in the tradition of Ignatian compassion, generosity and cura personalis.

Sugbo takes center stage in Kilat: Dulang Musikal, as the legion of Filipino heroes welcome Leon Kilat, the hero from the province, in their ranks.

The highly anticipated and groundbreaking theater production, “Kilat: Dulang Musikal,” ignited the stage with its premiere performance at the Virginia Chiongbian Theater of Sacred School-Ateneo de Cebu on Thursday, April 4, 2024. Following the 126th Battle of Tres de Abril commemoration, this production paid tribute to the remarkable legacy of local hero Leon Kilat.
