From Nursery 1 all the way to Grade 12, we offer a warm, nurturing environment grounded in Catholic Jesuit values, with English as the primary language of instruction (except for Filipino and Chinese classes). We’re here to support your family every step of the way as your child begins their Ignatian journey with us.

Age Requirement and Grade Placement
Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu follows the DepEd age requirement for students entering N1 – Kinder*. Students applying for Nursery 1, Nursery 2 and Kinder must have turned the age listed next to the grade level for the school year to be eligible to apply. All the other students must have a corresponding Certificate of Eligibility to Transfer to be eligible to apply to the next grade level. Kindly contact the admission team for further clarification.

All applicants must undergo the admission screening process. The Admission Committee carefully reviews academic credentials, the results of the standardized entrance examination administered by the Testing Services, and, if necessary, conducts an interview through the respective principal’s office. It is important that all submitted documents are complete and accurate; incomplete or incorrect documents will delay or prevent the processing of your application.
Please note the distinction between admission and enrollment:
- Admission is the process of being accepted into the school after meeting all requirements and passing the screening.
- Enrollment is the subsequent step reserved for applicants who have received a Notice of Acceptance and wish to officially register as students.
To help ensure a smooth application, please review the following procedure and requirements carefully. We highly recommend preparing clear digital copies of all required documents in advance, as you will need to upload them during the application process.

Procedure for Admission
STEP 1
Create an account using our online admission portal:
apply.shs-adc.edu.ph
STEP 2
Choose the grade level and review the requirements needed. Please prepare scanned or digital copies of these requirements in advance since you will need to upload them later during the application process.
Kindly ensure that the copies are clear.
STEP 3
When ready, you may start the application process by filling up the online form. Upload the required documents as per the nationality of the child. You may add additional applicants in the same account.
STEP 4
Pay the application fee of PHP700 per child, online or cash onsite. For online payments, there is a bank web service fee of PHP250 per transaction. Please proceed to the cashier counter at the Finance Office for onsite payments.
STEP 5
Admission team will review your application within 48hrs. If application received falls on a weekend or holiday, then the application will be reviewed on the next working day. Please ensure to upload correct and complete documents.
STEP 6
Check your online admission portal to book your schedule for onsite entrance exam/assessment. You may contact Testing Services on testing@shs-adc.edu.ph or 09339710690 for further assistance.
STEP 7
Come to school with your printed test permit and proceed to the Testing Services on your assigned date to take the entrance exam/assessment. No test permit, no exam.
STEP 8
The results will be available within 5 working days for Nursery 1 to Grade 11 applicants (except Grade 10). For Grade 11 applicants, results will be available once all applicants have been ranked. You will be notified via email if your application has been accepted or rejected.
STEP 9
Once accepted, you may proceed to pay the reservation fee of PHP8,000 per child within 15 days of acceptance or your slot will be forfeited. The reservation fee is non-refundable, non-transferrable but deductible from the overall tuition fee. Payments can be done online or at the cashier counter onsite.
STEP 10
Official enrollment will begin in June 2025. You will need to submit the original documents to the School Registrar and pay the annual school fee at the Finance Office to be officially enrolled for SY 2025-2026. Foreign students will need to pay the annual fee in full in their first year of enrollment.
Note:
- The Php 700 application fee is only applicable for the school year applied for. This is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Payment can be done via the admission portal or at the cashier counter onsite.
- The Php 8,000 reservation fee will only be paid once the applicant has been accepted. This is non-refundable, non-transferrable but deductible from the overall annual school fee. The reservation fee is only applicable for the school year applied for. Payment can be done via the admission portal, via bank transfer, or at the cashier counter onsite.
- Online payments will have a bank web service fee of Php250 per transaction.
- All Grade 11 applicants will have an additional interview at the principal’s office after the entrance exam.
- For Nursery 1, Nursery 2, and Kinder applicants: choosing the morning and afternoon session is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please approach our early ed coordinator, Teacher Denise to reserve your preferred schedule.
ADMISSION PROCESS

STEP 5
Admission team will review your application after payment is validated by Finance. If the application received falls on a weekend, it will be reviewed the next working day. Please ensure to upload correct and complete documents.
STEP 6
Once reviewed, book your child’s onsite entrance exam/assessment via the admissions portal.
STEP 7
Come to school with the test permit and proceed to the Testing Services on your assigned date to take the entrance exam/assessment. Please call 09339710690 for further assistance.
STEP 8
The results will be available within 5 working days. All applicants for Senior High School will have an additional interview at the Principal’s Office. You will be notified via email if your application has been accepted or rejected.
STEP 9
If accepted, then a Big Congratulations Indeed! You may proceed to pay the reservation fee of PHP8,000 per child within 15 days of acceptance. The reservation fee is non-refundable but deductible from the overall tuition fee. Payments can be made via bank transfer or at the cashier counter onsite.
STEP 10
For all accepted applicants, official enrollment will begin in May 11, 2026 to June 6, 2026. Enrollment instructions will be sent via email in May 2026. You will need to submit the original documents to the School Registrar and pay the tuition fees at the Finance Office to be officially enrolled for S.Y. 2026-2027.
