From August 22 to October 11, 2024, the Magis Eagles Arena came alive as the Ateneo Hearter community celebrated passion, teamwork, and wellness through the second season of the Basketball Club Tournament, organized by the Faculty and Staff Development Office during the Ignatian Heroes Appreciation Days (IHEAD).
Faculty, non-teaching staff, guards, and custodians all took to the court, showing that the spirit of Magis shines brightest when we come together as one community.
Congratulations to Team Nuñez for claiming the championship title!
Applause also goes to our outstanding teams: Team Hernando (1st Runner-up), Team Herras (2nd Runner-up), Team Tremblay (3rd Runner-up), and Team Katigbak (4th Runner-up).
Each game was a testament to heart, perseverance, and unity. As we close this season, may the values of teamwork and wellness continue to echo across our halls and courts, reminding us that every hero’s journey begins with a single step—and a shared dream.
