Part of their integrated capstone project for the subjects’ General Biology and Entrepreneurship, the selected students of the Grade 12 STEM strand gathered for the “Limitless: The STEM BioEntrep Prosthesis Initiative” held on April 5, 2025, at the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Cebu City.
The activity was the culmination of months of research, creativity, and hard work as students designed and constructed working bioprostheses that would assist patients from the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary PTOT Rehabilitation Center.
With this project, the students not only deployed their scientific literacy to solve everyday problems but proved that education grounded in purpose is capable of revolutionizing lives beyond the classroom. Their presentations featured creativity, compassion, and abiding passion to make healthcare inventions more accessible to those who are in need of them.
