Laro, Sayaw, Saya: EEd Marks Buwan ng Wika

Last August 28, Thursday, the Early Education Unit joyfully celebrated the Buwan ng Wika culminating activity at the Early Education lobby. The festivities kicked off with cheerful Filipino greetings and spirited songs, followed by a dazzling showcase of colorful traditional costumes that filled the room with cultural pride. The children also grooved to the catchy beat of “Piliin Mo ang Pilipinas“.
The event’s highlight was an exhilarating round of Larong Pinoy that had everyone cheering with laughter and enthusiasm. The much-loved Pabitin and Piñata games added bursts of joy and surprises, lighting up the faces of every young Ateneo Hearter present.
The celebration wrapped up on a wonderfully high note, with contagious smiles, joyful laughter, and a heartfelt appreciation of Filipino culture shared by all. As one happy pupil summed it up perfectly, “It’s masaya!”
May this simple celebration of Buwan ng Wika inspire a deeper appreciation and pride in Filipino culture and identity within the young Ateneo Hearters.
