Guosheng Elementary School Visits SHS-AdC

          On July 9, 2025, the Grade School Department of Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) warmly welcomed a delegation from Guosheng Elementary School in Changhua County, Taiwan, including seven Grade 6 pupils and two teachers. Leading the group was their school principal, Cheng-Ying Lee. The visit aimed to promote cultural exchange, facilitate professional sharing, and explore opportunities for future collaboration. Like SHS-AdC, Guosheng Elementary is deeply committed to holistic education, fostering values that are both rooted in local culture and oriented toward a global perspective.

          A short program was organized, beginning with Mrs. Lea P. Amores, Grade School Principal, warmly welcoming the visitors from Taiwan. This was followed by a presentation titled “The Top Three Things to Know About Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu,” delivered by Ms. Marisse V. Paraoan, Grade School Assistant Principal for Academics. The Subject Area Coordinators then led a school tour, which was complemented by a classroom sit-in with the pupils. During the refreshments that followed, the Taiwanese visitors had the opportunity to engage with selected members of the Magis Student Council. The conversations were marked by mutual respect and a spirit of shared understanding.

          Truly, the experience blossomed into a heartfelt celebration of cultural exchange and friendship—transcending language barriers and crossing national borders to unite everyone in understanding and camaraderie.
