Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) is now accepting applications for the Grant-In-Aid (GIA) Scholarship for School Year 2026–2027.
The GIA Scholarship supports students with demonstrated financial need who aspire to receive a Jesuit education at SHS-AdC. Through this program, the school extends meaningful assistance to deserving learners and their families while upholding academic standards and formation in the Jesuit tradition.
WHO MAY APPLY
Open to incoming Grades 6 to 12 students who meet the following:
- Family gross annual income does not exceed Php 500,000
- Only one (1) applicant per family
For Current SHS-AdC Students
- General Average of at least 85%
- No grade lower than 80% in all academic subjects
- At least B in all non-academic subjects
- B and above in Conduct
For New Learners
- Must pass the admission process and receive a Notice of Acceptance (NOA) with no Academic Probation
- General Average of at least 85% with no grade lower than 85% in academic, non-academic subjects, and conduct
HOW TO APPLY
Download and accomplish the GIA Application Form (link here).
- Accomplish the form accurately and honestly
- Write answers in CAPITAL LETTERS
- Only one (1) form per applicant
- Write “N/A” for items not applicable
- Incomplete applications will not be accepted
Submit the accomplished form and complete requirements in a brown envelope with your name written on the upper left corner in this format:
SURNAME, First Name, Incoming Grade Level
All submissions will be verified by the Office of Admission and Scholarship (OAS).
Note: Scholarships are limited and granted strictly based on eligibility. Not all applicants will be awarded. Only one scholarship per family.
CHECKLIST OF REQUIREMENTS
Arrange documents in the following order:
- Accomplished GIA Application Form
- Recent 2×2 photo (white background, glued on form)
- Signed personal letter explaining the need for financial assistance
- Photocopy of latest Report Card
Proof of Family Income (any of the following)
- BIR Form 2316 for employed parents/unmarried siblings living at home
- Employment contract for OFWs
- Latest payslips (2 consecutive months)
- For self-employed/business owners:
- Description of business/work
- BIR Form 1700/1701 (ITR)
- Photo of business establishment
- Certificate of Retirement/Separation (if applicable)
- Affidavit of low income / no income (if applicable)
- Letter explaining ITR exemption (if applicable)
Other Supporting Documents
- Electric and water bills for the past 3 months (or explanation letter)
- Lease agreement (if renting)
Additional for New Learners
- Photocopy of Notice of Acceptance (NOA)
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
IMPORTANT DATES
- Start of Submission: April 13, 2026
- Deadline of Application: May 15, 2026
- Tentative Release of Results: First week of June 2026
