The Grade School Guidance Services proudly launched Career Awareness Activities on January 10, 2025, with the exciting theme, “Bright Futures Ahead: Exploring Careers that Help Others.” This event marked the beginning of an engaging series of activities designed to spark curiosity and broaden the students’ understanding of various professions.

The Grade School community of Sacred Heart School—Ateneo de Cebu celebrated the feast of the Holy Child Jesus, the Sr. Sto. Niño, on January 16, 2025, at the Magis Eagles Arena through a eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. Irmo Valeza of the Society of Jesus.

On January 10-11, 2024, our Grade 4-6 Boy Scouts enjoyed a memorable Backyard Camping experience filled with learning, camaraderie, and adventure. Guided by CEP facilitators, the Boy Scout Leaders’ Council, and teacher chaperones, the boys embodied the spirit of scouting.

Sinulog is the Feast of the Holy Child Jesus, Señor Sto. Niño is celebrated annually on the third Sunday of January.

Grade School Ateneo Hearters navigated their way through the Magis Eagles Arena last January 10, 2025, when they dressed up as doctors, nurses, teachers, engineers, soldiers, and other future professionals and experts during the launching of the Career Awareness Week.

Last December 14, 2024, the Girl Scout Investiture Ceremony for Star Scouts and Junior Scouts was a momentous event that celebrated the growth of leadership and character among our young girls in the Grade School Department.

The Christmas party at the Early Education Unit was filled with laughter, fun, and special moments. The pupils celebrated the joy of Christmas through play, learning, and sharing.

The Junior High School Department celebrated a day of learning, service, and environmental stewardship through its Social Involvement(SI) and Faculty and Staff Development (FSD) activity held at the Cebu Diversified Advocacy Cooperative (CEDACO) on November 8, 2024.

Perhaps forgotten, the Christmas Fair is part of the Christmas Drive. The Drive is a tradition dating back to what we may call the Old Campus years. Who started the Drive and was the Fair part of it from the beginning, are questions that still need to be answered. Upon checking available documentary bases, the 1969 Yearbook of Sacred Heart School for Boys records the inclusion of the Dri ve in said year’s events.

The Grade 3 pupils received for the first time the Body and Blood of Christ in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. This significant milestone in the Christian life of these pupils happened last November 21-22, 2024 at the Cor Jesu Oratory.
