Back to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu Grade School community welcomed the new academic year 2025 – 2026 with an assembly at the Grade School Courtyard last July 2, 2025.

FACULTY ACHIEVEMENT. August 16, 2025 is a landmark in SHS-AdC’s history, after Mr. Rhoderick John Abellanosa, Head of the Research Office, successfully launched his book titled Education for a Faith That Does Justice: Philippine Catholic Education in an Age of Globalization.

The RVO–JVO Scholarship Program of Sacred Heart School–Ateneo de Cebu held its annual Scholars’ Assembly at the Confucius Room, highlighted by the historic first induction of Grade 7 scholars into the scholarship community.

We proudly celebrate our Grade 12 student innovators’ brilliance, creativity, and hard work as they competed in the International Creativity and Innovation Award (ICIA) National Selection – Visayas.

Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu proudly concludes the successful second year of the International College and Career Exposure (iC2E) Program, held in Canada from April 12 to 26, 2025.

In its continuous pursuit of shaping socially aware and responsible individuals, Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu, in partnership with the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand, the Philippine Institute for Student Democracy (PISD), and student organization HIRAYA, was able to implement the First-Time Student Voter Education Program.

Part of their integrated capstone project for the subjects’ General Biology and Entrepreneurship, the selected students of the Grade 12 STEM strand gathered for the “Limitless: The STEM BioEntrep Prosthesis Initiative” held on April 5, 2025, at the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Cebu City.

To celebrate the start of Love Month, the Grade School Math Area invited parent volunteers from Casili Elementary School, Cubacub Elementary School, and Pagsabungan Elementary School to a morning filled with fun and relaxation.

The 2025 mathematics celebration was a unique event that showcased the creative and practical side of math through the theme “Mathematics Days: Mathematics, Arts, and Creativity.” The celebration kicked off energetically on March 19 during the Grade School General Assembly, where pupils, teachers, parents, and guardians enthusiastically participated in MathSayaw Zumba—an innovative fusion of dance, rhythm, and mathematical symbols—demonstrating that math can be both fun and exciting.
