There is something beautiful about returning to a place that helped shape what you are—even when the place itself has changed through the years.
Members of Batch 1977 of Sacred Heart School for Boys recently visited Sacred Heart School–Ateneo de Cebu for a campus tour. Their journey as students began almost five decades ago at the old campus along Mango Avenue, where they spent their formative years learning, growing, and building memories that would remain with them long after graduation.
During their visit to the present campus, they had the opportunity to see how the school has grown and evolved through the years. Yet, beyond the buildings and spaces, what remained most meaningful was the connection they continued to have with the school that had been part of their early years.
What made their visit even more special was their intention to leave some symbols of legacy to the school.
Decades may have passed since they were students of Sacred Heart School for Boys, but the spirit of being Men for Others remains in the way they give back.
Their visit is a beautiful reminder that what we receive can become a gift to those who come after us.
