One with the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP), Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu relives the spirit of EDSA People Power (1986) by recalling its humble contribution to the peaceful revolution that brought back democracy to the country after the collapse of the Marcos dictatorship.

Two exceptional students from Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu, Renz Rudolf Landicho and Daxx Pharell Llorente have made history as the first-ever recipients of the John L. Ocampo Endowed Scholarship, a prestigious and life-changing opportunity that will fully fund their undergraduate education in Electrical Engineering at Santa Clara University (SCU) in California, USA.

Gulayan, alongside his dedicated teammates Mateo Buenconsejo (11-Pax) and Phidar Kou (11-Pax), competed in the PNCO Region VII Elimination Round held on February 8, 2025, at the University of San Carlos – Talamban Campus.

Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) proudly welcomed one of Taiwan’s top school-based table tennis teams, Taoyuan Municipal Yung Feng High School, for an enriching exchange of skills, sportsmanship, and culture from February 4-9, 2025.

Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu extended its sense of service and leadership to the greater educational community as it hosted the Teachers’ Congress of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) for both elementary (CEPA) and secondary (CESSPA) teachers last January 31, 2025.

The Grade School Guidance Services proudly launched Career Awareness Activities on January 10, 2025, with the exciting theme, “Bright Futures Ahead: Exploring Careers that Help Others.” This event marked the beginning of an engaging series of activities designed to spark curiosity and broaden the students’ understanding of various professions.

The Grade School community of Sacred Heart School—Ateneo de Cebu celebrated the feast of the Holy Child Jesus, the Sr. Sto. Niño, on January 16, 2025, at the Magis Eagles Arena through a eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. Irmo Valeza of the Society of Jesus.

On January 10-11, 2024, our Grade 4-6 Boy Scouts enjoyed a memorable Backyard Camping experience filled with learning, camaraderie, and adventure. Guided by CEP facilitators, the Boy Scout Leaders’ Council, and teacher chaperones, the boys embodied the spirit of scouting.

Sinulog is the Feast of the Holy Child Jesus, Señor Sto. Niño is celebrated annually on the third Sunday of January.
