The Grade School (GS) Ateneo Fest, Hearters’ Best 2026 is all set to bring excitement, energy, and school spirit as the much-awaited Intramurals 2026 open on August 7, 2026. One of the highlights of the celebration is the Dance Palabas Competition, which will showcase the creativity and talent of the Grades 4 to 6 pupils.
With the theme: “Ateneo Hearters: Nurturing Character and Competence through Sports,” the opening of the GS Intramurals 2026 aims to celebrate not only athletic excellence but also the values of discipline, teamwork, and holistic formation. The Dance Palabas participants are grouped into different houses, namely: House Humilitas, House Lux Oriens, House Amare, House AMDG, House Sapientia, and House Servire.
The Dance Palabas presentations will feature sub-themes anchored on the school’s 71st anniversary, making the competition more meaningful and symbolic. Each performance is expected to reflect gratitude, unity, and the enduring mission of the school, especially in honoring the lay collaborators who have played a vital role in its growth and service. House Humilitas, composed of Grade 4-Campion, Grade 5-Faber, and Grade 6-Bellarmine, will pay tribute to the teachers, both past and present. House Lux Oriens, comprised of Grade 4-Southwell, Grade 5-Xavier, Grade 6-Regis, and Grade 6-Gonzalez, will honor the campus custodians and security personnel who ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment. House AMDG, represented by Grade 4-Del Castillo, Grade 5-Hurtado, and Grade 6-Canisius, will highlight the faithful service of the school support staff, including the Clinic, Registrar, Finance, Canteen, Safety and Security, and Human Resources. House Servire, composed of Grade 4-Kostka, Grade 5-Goupil, and Grade 6-Loyola, will celebrate the servant leadership and commitment of the school administration. In addition, House Sapientia, composed of Grade 4-Garnet, Grade 5-Jerome, and Grade 6-Gonzaga, will honor the Chinese community whose enduring support has strengthened the school’s mission and enriched generations of learners. Lastly, House Amare, made up of Grade 4-Pignatelli, Grade 5-Berchmans, and Grade 6-Claver, will feature the members of the Physical Plant Office (PPO), who maintain and improve the school’s physical facilities.
As the pupils prepare to take center stage, the upcoming Dance Palabas Competition promises to be a vibrant display of artistry, school pride, and Ateneo spirit. More than a contest, it will be a celebration of faith, character, competence, and community.
May the opening salvo of Intramurals 2026 inspire every Ateneo Hearter to grow in character, excel in competence, and shine with faith, unity, and sportsmanship. See you this Friday!
